Minutes for the Delaware Artist Guild Meeting on October 26, 2015

This month’s meeting was held at Gallery 22, as the community room at the public library was unavailable. President Kris Kolb opened the meeting with sign-up sheets going around for attendance, refreshments, and updates on emails.

Kris discussed the fact that the group’s treasurer, Ray Wollschleger, needs to resign for health reasons and that the position needs to be filled as soon as possible. This was discussed. Ken Hildebrand mentioned that it is a very easy position. There were no volunteers.

New business:  venues for the upcoming Christmas party were discussed. Lynda Elias talked about the upcoming postcard show at the Arts Castle. Diane Hodges discussed the Castle Arts Affair and asked for volunteers, sending around a sign-up sheet.

Old business:  Ken Hildebrand described stopping in to Restoration Brew Worx as a possible exhibit space.

Lynda Elias introduced the docent from the Columbus Museum of Art, Bernard Palchick, who talked about the history of the museum and the new wing, which opened over the weekend.

At the end of the meeting, Mary Williams volunteered to be our new treasurer.

Respectfully submitted,

Kris Kolb, president
