Minutes for the Delaware Artist Guild Meeting, November 26, 2012

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by President Lori Palmer.   There were no new members or visitors present.  Minutes and announcements are posted on the website and in the newsletter.  The Treasurer’s report indicated that as of Oct. 26 we had 26 members and the treasury balance was $569.57.

Lynda Elias asked for feedback from members regarding the exhibit at the YMCA.  It was decided that the new exhibit will go up at the end of Decembers.  Members are invited to prepare new works to submit at that time.

Kris Kolb reminded members to have their items to her by the 15th of each month so she can put them in the newsletter.

Lori reported that a $100 donation was made to the Arts Castle in memory of Barbara Timmons per her husband’s request.

New Business:

The Holiday Party will take the place of the regular meeting.  It will be held at Tom Conrad’s house on Monday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m.  The address is 197 W. The January meeting will be a critique.  Members are encouraged to bring work that they are stuck on and other artists will take turns suggesting options to try.
